Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Start: Within 1 month
Daily rate: CHF
Length: 12 months + extension
Next Ventures are urgently looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a banking customer in Zurich, Switzerland. This individual will be working on multiple projects in the LRP and NON-LRP domains.
Key responsibilities:
Off-Shore coordination
2nd/3rd level Support for several applications
Implementation of the application components using Java SE and Java EE
Support Analysis and Design of the application architecture and its components
Ensure that common standards, processes and tools are adopted across all deliverables
High dedication to quality of his/her deliverables
Skills and experience:
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- +7 years of Java development
- 3 years of Oracle 10/11g experience working on an Oracle platform
- + 7 years of SQL experience
- Off Shore Coordination is a must (must have excellent communication skills)
- Java development with Eclipse under Windows for a Unix target system
- JSF, EJB, Spring-Batch and exposure to MQ and Web services
- Knowledge and effective use of Maven and Ant
- Test Driven Development (TDD) in an agile environment
