Performance Engineer - Application Performance Management wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years' experience in IT (development, architecture)
- JEE engineering experience
- Proficiency in one or more of the following areas are considered an advantage: Database performance tuning, Distributed Caches, BigData, Linux/Unix system tuning, Windows performance tuning
- Solid experience in or a strong interest for application performance management and testing as well as Up-to-date hands-on knowledge in Java technologies (Architecture, Design-Pattern, Run-time)
- Excellent experience with or certification in AppDynamics Monitoring along with proven track record of professional engagement with performance test tools such as JMeter or Loadrunner
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Actively engaging in the assessment of system design and architecture of systems regarding performance and monitoring
- Designing systems and providing architectural specification for high performance and performance monitoring
- Scheming, setting up, installing, tailoring and tuning of AppDynamics Monitoring
- Supporting and operating a large scale AppDynamics cluster
- Analysing and consulting on application/system run time behaviour.
- Ensuring technical Quality Assurance of the products in scope
