For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
Data Architect
Project background:
The REMI project has a global scope to deliver KPIs and CQAs for the Production (Drug Substance and Drug Products).
The candidate will work for the REMI System Project: Create a centralized IT system framework to automatically acquire, analyze, and report global manufacturing data for improved compliance with process and product monitoring.
Current project status: Release is planned end of June 2017.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Design stable, reliable and effective meta models across multiple different manufacturing data sources
- Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
- Gather user requirements and identify new features
Must Haves:
- 5 to 7 years of experience working in a Data Modeler or Data Architect capacity with hands on experience in Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL, as well as extensive background in data modelling and data warehousing
- Understanding of star/snowflake schemas, indexing, aggregate tables, dimension tables, constraints, keys, and fact tables required
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Understand the data requirements for the project and drive the solution based on the information needs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent English speaking
Nice to Haves:
+++ Pharma experience (as Data Modeler or Data Architect preferred)
+++ EII (JBOSS DV/TEIID) experience
+++ German speaking
