Unix Packaging and Shell Scripting specialist wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Excellent Shell Scripting and UNIX packaging skills is a must
- Oracle RDBM and SQL experience is a must
- Knowledge in Solaris/Linux OS
- Hands-on experience in OLU packaging, knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins/TeamCity including Maven and SVN
- Expert level analytical, problem solving and synthesizing skills with a strong interest in automating manual processes
- The ability to multi-task, meet deadlines constantly and be comfortable working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Creating application packages for different components using OLU packaging and provisioning of application infrastructure (databases, storage, Servers etc.)
- Deploying application in DEV and test environments
- Creating and maintaining application deployment scripts (Webapp as well as database)
- Loading balancer and BCM/DR setup and testing
- Planning and performing infrastructure upgrades (Servers, Oracle database, Middleware)
- Setting up application, infrastructure monitoring and Oracle PKI as well as creating database baselines for releases
