On behalf of our client, one of the most prestigious banks, we are looking for an outstanding Quantitative Developer (Risk Management and Portofolio Optimization). For this 12 month contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate, who can start as soon as possible.

The role:
- The ideal candidate needs to be able to understand the complex business requirements, especially their impact on quantitative models and performance IT systems (Financial Risk Management Platform).
- The role involves quantitative modelling, development, data analysis and prototyping.
- The domain will be in risk management and portfolio optimization
Who I am looking for:
- Proven track record in analysing financial instrument data across asset classes as a hands on Quantitative Developer
- Scientific or technical MSc/PhD degree from top tier universities (ie ETH, EPFL, MiT )
- First experience in the area of risk management and portofolio optimization is a strong plus
- Hands on experience with .NET and C#
- Hands on experience with Python is highly desired
- Experience in Financial Services Industry, preferably banking
- Experience in Data Quality, backtesting is a strong plus
- Excellent knowledge of machine learning
- A flair for research
- Candidates based in Switzerland will be given high priority
