For our client, a global banking company located in Zurich, Harvey Nash is looking for

Application DBA/Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced database administrator/data architect with elaborated knowledge in Oracle databases. Working in several IAM projects you are ensuring the quality and consistency of database changes within our development projects as well as supporting our teams with your know how.

In your role as data architect and application DBA you will work in our IAM projects together with solution architects and lead engineers to define and implement Oracle database solutions.

In this role you will be responsible for

* Supporting projects to find optimized, maintainable, stable and performing solutions reflecting state of the art DB design.
* Defining together with solution architects the data architecture for our IAM platform.
* Consulting projects with Datamodelling
* Support projects with query/SQL tuning
* Aligning implementation of new solutions based on best practices and corporate policies

Beside your role as application DBA you will also be the SPOC for the regional DB operating teams and are responsible that company guidelines for implementations as well as change management processes are carried out according our policies together with the DB operations teams.

From the application side you will

* Support the DB operation teams
* Support our 3rd Lvl support team with DB related incident resolution
* Be the link to central DB related support groups
* Troubleshooting/analysis of performance problems

Veryg OOD knowledge in English is expected, good knowledge in German would be a benefit.

Further advantages would be knowledge in MS SQL Server.
