We are looking for an Production Technical Support Officer to join our team in Geneva, a global city, with a strong financial presence and home to many headquarters of many international organisations.
Working at WIPO, with our partners Trasys, you will help deliver an exciting portfolio of projects ensuring that innovators and creators are fairly rewarded for the use of their intellectual property, regardless of where in the world it is used.
Typical tasks will include:
- Production systems improvements/existing systems review, implementation of new functionalities;
- Provides second and third level technical support to users;
- Developments in Java;
- Create test data sets and assist with product testing;
- Perform both unit & integration testing, documenting all results;
- Provide complete documentation where required.
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Experience maintaining production environments;
- Experience with JEE 6, including JSF, 2/EJB, & 3/JPA
- Experience with Eclipse, SVN, JUNIT, MAVEN, and JBoss;
- Experience with JQUERY, JavaScript, and XML;
- Experience with Shell Scripting, SQL, Oracle/PL/SQL;
- Experience with Complex WEB design and either PrimeFaces or RichFaces components;
- Fluent in English, Good French would be a plus.
This position is offered as a freelance, initially for 6 months with possible prolongations, with an rapid start.
