For one of our major financial clients in the Zurich area we are searching for an experienced System Engineer who will be working with Unix Solaris and Red Hat Linux.
Responsibilities:
- Working as an experienced Unix SME and doing platform integration.
- Testing of compute & storage platforms.
- Optimization of tools and processes.
- Close collaboration with other area such as Audit, Engineering and IT Risk.
- Working in a diverse environment and with people from different cultures.
Qualifications:
- Unix Solaris and Red Hat Linux expert level knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of Shell/Perl Scripting.
- Very good understanding of business requirements.
- Experience in requirements engineering.
- Fluent English.
- Good team player.
Advantages:
- Red Hat Satellite and/or SaltStack and/or Puppet experience
- ITIL certification
- German language
