Evaluation specialist - Public Sector experience
Are you a highly qualified Evaluation specialist with Public Health sector experience gained within a multinational and multicultural environment and looking for an exciting new opportunity within a non-governmental organisation (NGO)?

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an Evaluation specialist with Public health sector experience to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.
Your responsibilities:
In coordination, collaboration and alignment with other members of the project team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Guide and coordinate prospective country evaluation work in 2 or 3 assigned countries, including the work of the global evaluation partner who will guide the in-country evaluation partners and the work in the assigned countries;
- Manage relations with the projects focal persons for the assigned countries; ensure they are up to date; and seek their inputs, guidance and decisions when needed;
- Ensure day-to-day management and timely implementation of prospective country evaluations and develop solutions when issues arise; when adjustments are required, provide suggestions and follow up;
- Manage relations and communications with the relevant Client teams, including Country Teams, especially, Fund Portfolio Manager and Public Health, Monitoring and Evaluation officer.
- Oversee and guide relations and communications of evaluation partners with country stakeholders;
- Stay abreast of new developments of the Client and ensure evaluation partners are informed;
- Review updates and reports drafted and developed by the in-country evaluation partners and provide guidance and inputs
- Identify and anticipate key risks and potential issues for project management;
- Support learning and follow up recommendations; and
- In addition the Evaluation Specialist may facilitate strategic/thematic reviews and its implementation; and
- Provide support to other project related activities as needs arise, eg, project meetings, preparing background materials.
To deliver the required results, it's necessary that you have:
- At least over 8 years of experience in evaluation or closely related fields in public health;
- Knowledge and multi-disciplinary understanding of public health, as well as systems for health;
- Familiarity with Technical Evaluation reference work or similar independent evaluations; and
- Experience in managing complex projects.
- Fluent in English, working knowledge of French
