Technical Analyst - FX Risk Management wanted for one of our Zurich based clients in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- 4+ years of academic work experience as a Technical Analyst within the financial industry
- Proficiency in development methodologies and technologies as well as expertise in front to back FX banking processes, especially FX trading and Middle Office
- Excellent technical and business knowledge of the trading product platforms along with strong understanding of FX cash and FX option trading and its life cycles, as well as Murex
- Solid Windows NT/UNIX/SQL/JAVA development experience along with prior work experience in requirement gathering and UAT
- Strong management, decision making and problem solving skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Supporting the FX applications from technical analysis side as well as gathering, identifying and documenting business requirements of consolidation phase of FX-platform
- Arranging and Scripting around FX platform offerings along with being in charge for the FX business users for ongoing requirements
- Developing, assisting and troubleshooting the internally created and externally supported software on Unix (Solaris), command, SQL and XML languages
- Designing and applying MXML Exchange workflows and representing end-users during UAT implementation
- Testing the configured functionality/new features on FX platform as well as analysing and resolving FX-platforms' errors
- Coaching IT to ensure that all business critical features are available and properly running besides evaluating functional testing for new FX-platform releases
