SharePoint Client-side developer required, to work on a project within a major Bank in Switzerland.
This is for an initial contract starting as soon as until end of March (4-5 days a week) onsite in clients offices in Basel.
Possibility of extension is subject to performance and further requirements.
SharePoint 2013 Developer (Client Side)
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint client-side developer to work within the bank's Collaboration Team, for a specific set of solutions for an internal customer.
The successful candidate will be a SharePoint product expert; capable of demonstrating experience in leveraging the product's out-of-the-box (OOTB) offerings, as well as building on top of them to deliver a response user experience to satisfy specific business requirements.
Experience in working within an agile development team and adhering to software engineering principals is essential.
Responsibilities
- Working with the Collaboration Team to design solutions for specific customer requirements, including providing estimates
- Working with the CP team to plan work within Sprints
- Development of client-side solutions within the bank's existing framework
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of the SharePoint 2013 client object model and Web Services
- Demonstrable experience in leveraging SharePoint's out of the box features to satisfy customer requirements
- Solid understanding of SharePoint's core list infrastructure
- Strong JavaScript development and debugging skills
- Experience using common JavaScript libraries within SharePoint (eg jQuery)
- Very strong experience in HTML5 and CSS3 for a clean, responsive visual experience
- Strong understanding of REST, including consuming (non-SharePoint) Web Services via AJAX
- Experience developing Workflows for SharePoint
- Ability to develop code and non-code solutions to a consistent standard via the use of ALM tools and DevOps practices
- Demonstrable experience in portability and re-usability of solutions (eg deployment to multiple environments)
- Experience using Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code with TFS (ideally via Git)
Desirable, but non-essential skills
- Experience with Exchange and Outlook integration for SharePoint solutions (eg calendars)
- AngularJS (will be treated as an advantage)

Duration: ASAP - End March 2017 (possible extension till end of year 2017)
