Business Analyst Payment Services

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst with broad experience within the realm of payment solutions/services and standards (IBAN, BIC, SEPA, SWIFT, etc.). This is a contract-based assignment for an ambitious financial service provider in Zurich.
Tasks
- Close collaboration with a number of different stakeholders on the business and IT side.
- Analyse business processes and data flows.
- Analysis and design of processing on logical and on physical levels.
- Gather detailed requirements for processes, reports, interfaces, data feeds
- Liaise with offshore IT centres
- Contribute to design of payment solutions (solution analysis, architecture)
- Actively work on problem resolution; liaise with other teams across the organization
- Ensure smooth hand-overs of operational units and CRMs during go-lives (provide support if necessary)
- Verification & validation of daily processing during solution development and hand-over.
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of and experience with payment systems
- Knows the ins and outs of IBAN, BIC, ACH, SEPA, SWIFT
- Detailed knowledge of payment standing instruction concepts, eg account entry validation, etc.
- Good modelling skills; ability to create diagrams and models and deliver presentations/result reports
- Able to understand data models and ability to provide tangible contributions during the system design phase.
- Willingness to dive into the details of solutions (incl. SQL interaction with database).
- Knowledge of alternative payment systems such as PayPal, CreditCard, Direct Debit etc.
- IREB, BABOK or equivalent business analysis certification.
- Good oral and written English and German
