IT Monitoring Platform SME wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Experience in BMC Performance Management/Patrol
- Solid Unix/Linux and SQL knowledge and extensive experience in Unix Shell Scripting, regular expression and XML
- Ability to install, support and monitor products
- Familiarity with Apache Cassandra, Grafana and Bosun
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Acting as SME on the existing baselines in place for the current monitoring platform
- Performing as the accountable owner and SME of the new monitoring baselines for 'in scope' technologies including Windows, Unix, SQL, Sybase and Oracle
- Implementing new monitoring baselines on the new IT Wide Monitoring Platform
- Conducting knowledge sharing sessions and trainings with existing support personnel
- Learning and documenting best practices for the creation of baselines
