For one of our clients in Zurich we are looking for a Hadoop engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Working in a small international team
- Working on a growing platform that is used in different areas across the company
- You will work on data pipelines and integrate new big data technologies
- Supporting and consulting the users of this platform
- Working with sensitive data
Requirements:
- Master degree in Computer Science or an equivalent
- Strong experience in Hadoop, Puppet, Ansible, Chef is a must
- Very good experience with Java, Scala or Python in a Linux environment
- Problem solving skills, thinking out of the box and good communication skills
- Knowledge in relational databases would be beneficial
