For a 6 months project at our client, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Controller/Business Analyst - Legal Entity - Planning/Forecasting (4101)
Your Qualifications:
- Financial or banking background is essential for this role (5+ years' experience)
- Experience in management accounting processes and Microsoft Office products
- Experience in planning & forecasting processes is an advantage, as is familiarity with treasury and capital planning
- A proactive person with the desire to learn the businesses and business processes
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
- Fluent in English, German would be a strong asset
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the monthly forecasting process for all material legal entities
- Reviewing and questioning submissions, reconciling to divisional management numbers and centrally provided data
- Participating in monthly review meetings/calls with senior finance management from Group Finance and the legal entity controllers
- Preparing, explaining and distributing divisional and legal entity forecasts
- Preparing presentations to executive management and the Board of Directors
- Challenging the process with a view to automation and improvement
