Overview:
Network support resource(s), to be based in Geneva, to provide Network and Firewall Operations support for ICC Managed Network Infrastructure.
Required PROFILE:
The resource(s) should have:
Five or more years' experience working for IT service provider organization, in a complex multi-tenancy environment
Five or more years' hands-on experience managing and configuring Cisco Routers and Switches
Three or more years' hands-on experience managing and administering Checkpoint and Cisco ASA Firewalls
Three or more years' hands-on experience managing and administering Cisco Unified Communications environment (Call Manager, Unity, CME/SRST, Jabber)
Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE)
Excellent English verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and in writing.
Education at least to Bachelor's degree level.
DESCRIPTION OF the work:
Provide operational support and resolve user requests and technical problems in the ICC Managed Network Infrastructure
Work on the service requests to implement Firewall changes and network security related activities such as access-lists and VPN settings changes
Review switch, Router and Firewall logs for security violations and other network threats and take necessary action upon advice from supervisor
Monitor network and Firewall usage, review the network devices logs, evaluate the performance of the network and perform corrective or improvement actions when necessary
Implement security fixes and solutions required to enhance the security of ICC's unified infrastructure
Assist the unit team members to carry out approved projects
Prepare documentation where needed
Provide telephone "stand-by" support during weekends, holidays and outside normal working hours on a scheduled rotation basis together with the other Unit members.
