A Systems and Application Administrator with a minimum of 6 years' experience is required by our client based in Geneva, Switzerland on an initial 12 month contract to work in an existing team who are responsible for Application Maintenance, Application Deployment Processes and systems management for our clients operating systems platform.
Candidates wishing to apply for this position MUST have an expert knowledge of RedHat Linux Administration in particular, High Availability Systems Setup and Clustering and have a proven background of supporting and maintaining Web Servers, Apache, Tomcat, Jboss, WildFLy and OpenSource Products (Development, Support and Implementation).
You will also support the development and applications technical teams therefore, candidates will also need to have experience of supporting the following technologies and solutions; Web Applications; OpenCMS, Confluence, Jira, OTRS, Opinio, Moodle, MySQL/MariaDB/Postrgesql Servers and databases as well as the implementation of clustered database systems, Data exchange solutions based on FTP an SFTP, DNS, NTP, Web Proxy Servers and Internet Content Filtering.
Any experience with the following networking technologies will be considered advantageous; Networking; TCP/IP, Routing, Networking Protocols such as HTTP, ftp, SMTP, ssh DNS etc.
