For our client in Zurich, we are looking for a Junior Business Analyst within Securities for a 6 months' assignment with potential extension
Do you have a knack for analysing IT business processes and contributes in creating solutions?
We're looking for someone like that who can help us:
*conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
*develop requirements specifications according to standard templates
*identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
*determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
*assist in quality control and testing
*collaborate with developers and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs
Your team You'll be working in the Application Delivery within Securities CH delivery department and be part of the Settops team.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for gathering and understanding the business needs of stakeholders in Global Settlements Operations. Together with the Project Manager, the Product Owner and the rest of the stakeholders and IT team, you will ensure that the requirements reflect the needs of the business and are accurately and clearly translated into detailed requirements that the developers and testers can work with.
Your experience and skills
You have:
*strong analytical, problem-solving skills to be able to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
*experience in eliciting requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, scenarios and ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources
*experience in documenting Business Requirements, Scenarios and Interface requirements
*experience with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum
*experience in SQL Scripting, to be able to analyse data independently
*experience in writing test scripts/test scenarios where necessary and help the testers to do so
*2+years of experience as Business Analyst
*preferably previous programming or testing experience
You are:
*an excellent communicator (both verbally and in written), with strong interpersonal skills
*able to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
*can deliver assignments on time
*a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude
*known for your can-do attitude when tackling daily tasks
*fluent in English and also preferably in German
