For a a major Big Data project at a global bank in Zurich we are looking for a DevOps Engineer as follows:
Required skills and experiences
- Configuration Management (Saltstack, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.)
- Strong UNIX skills (Redhat preferred)
- Strong Python Scripting
- Some Bash Scripting
- Secure Networking
- Kerberos security
- Experience with distributed systems (Hadoop preferred)
The bank requires an experienced software engineer with recent exposure to open source Big Data technologies to join their project team, to help deliver, maintain and support their growing platform. The platform serves multiple areas of the bank, including some very exciting and cutting-edge projects, with board-level sponsorship.
