For a long term project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Business Engineer/Analyst - MIFID2/Regulatory (4066)
As a Business Engineer/Analyst you will be responsible to define the MiFID 2 requirements and processes which affect the key systems used in the advisory process of the bank.
Your Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a Business Analyst/Business Engineer role
- Experience in the bank regulatory frameworks (especially MIFID) is a plus
- Experienced with the standard requirements elaboration and documentation techniques
- Ability to think in models as well as practical skills in using UML
- Solid banking know how (processes and financial products)
- Familiar with agile working methodologies
- Fast, precise and structured thinker
- Good communication skills (written and verbally)
- Team player with self-motivated can-do mindset
- Technical skills highly desired (SQL, read and understand Java code, solid understanding of modern software engineering and architecture)
- Fluent in English (oral/written), German is a plus
Your Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze business requirements (data sources, interfaces, business logic and processes) and work directly with business stakeholders, project managers, developers and other business customer to define the business requirements, objectives and specifications
- Active involvement in solution finding within the project (close collaboration with business and IT and other customers/stakeholders)
- Support development team on design, logic, architecture and testing - including interfaces from source to target applications according to architectural standards
- Document business requirements and specifications as per firm standards
- Key contact for business and IT on data and process related questions/issues
