Position: Application Support (L2)

Job Location: Geneva - Switzerland

Contract Duration: 12 months +

PRIMARY SKILLSET

JAVA, UNIX and experience in production support of banking applications especially in the Wealth Management area.

Job Description

1) 5+ years experience in handling application support for L2 level.
2) Hands on experience in handling support and maintenance for JAVA based applications.
3) Exposure to UNIX Shell Scripting and ability to debug and analyse the logs for the UNIX batches.
4) Strong skills in UNIX commands and experience in handling server to server communication and debugging
5) Hands on experience in instalaltion and configuration of monitoring tools like Geneos.
6) Exposure to Disaster recovery activities
7) An understanding of incident management within IT infrastructure organization.
8) A positive attitude, excellent customer-facing skills.
9) Must possess strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills.
10) Experience in Incident management, Release management, Change management, Problem management as per ITIL framework
11) Flexibility to work based on unforseen project requirement
