Are you an experienced JAVA Developer, looking for a contract development job with an exciting fintech company based here in Zürich? Do you have strong Server Side JAVA development skills gained through years of developing high availability applications? Are you able to start a new JAVA Developer job within the next 2 weeks? If so, this could be the perfect JAVA Developer contract job for you.
You will be joining an international development team that develop bespoke financial software solutions for banks and asset management companies in Switzerland, the UK and the US. The team work in small Scrum teams to create high availability JAVA based trading and portfolio management applications that can are deployed on web and mobile platforms. The team deliver this software in an Agile and heavily test driven way.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong core JAVA skills with experience of Multithreading. A good understanding of message queues and some Front End exposure (ideally JavaScript, HTML, ZK and AngularJS). Good understanding of open source frameworks in particular Spring and Hibernate is ideal, as is any exposure to developing RESTful Services.
This is an incredibly urgent contract position and as such priority will be given to you if you can start immediately. Applicants with a notice period will be considered if this is no longer than 1 month.
