Solution Architect wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Degree or similar education in IT along with 8+ years of working experience as PL/1 and software developer within a financial environment
- Expertise in batch-processing, SQL, XML and MQ Series as well as experience in requirements specification and solution designing
- 4+ years of solid experience as solution architect plus strong ability to lead an on-site and off-shore development team
- Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Architect 9.x beside profound theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modelling (UML)
- Knowledge of project management, Java software engineering and very good banking knowhow about tax, specially FATCA/Qualified Intermediary are of advantage
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Analyzing the requirements specification beside designing and implementing technical solutions considering economic efficiency, quality, feasibility and dependencies
- Helping in project estimation along with providing input plan regarding solution engineering and software engineering project activities to the project manager
- Cooperating with the software engineers, defining and allocating work packages, ensuring high quality of the work products and a consistent end-to-end solution implementation
- Confirming compliance with IT standard and guidelines plus acting as technical representative and advisor for projects
- Coaching all project-related solution engineering work products, content and quality of the application documentation
- Assuring adherence to application and technology related architectural standards and development policies as well as reviewing design and implementation to ensure architecture and application conforming to standards and guideline
