RHEL Application Engineer/Release Engineer/Performance Engineer (Contracting) - 5163
Job Description
- Ensuring the stability of the banking application Avaloq in large banking environments for several countries
- Administrating Avaloq CRM on UNIX systems (Linux RHEL)
- Care for regular CRM application release management according to the business requirements
- Managing new software releases
- Standardize project software configuration, deployment and release procedures
- Monitoring Avaloq CRM Application during office hours
- Ensure adherence to internal IT standards and security guidelines
- Performance and reliability testing of the high end customer reporting
- Cooperation with internal IT teams in resolving different issues
- Completion of personal daily time-tracking tool entries
- Provide 2nd level support for internal customers
- Providing On-Call support for some critical banking applications during off office hours
- Migrating banking application environments
- Proactive collaboration in analysing, troubleshooting and providing solutions
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or similar
- Relevant administration, deployment and testing experience of Web Applications
- Good experience in Red Hat Enterpise Linux (RHEL)
- Some experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Some experience in Weblogic Application Server
- Understanding network topology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Client focus approach, High level of self-motivation, quick learner
- Experience in a Financial/Investment Banking and/or Private Banking environment advantageous
- Knowledge of Avaloq advantageous
- Fluent in English/French high desirable
Contract Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months
- Rate: CHF 95/hour all inclusive
