Profile description Test Engineer/Test Manager
Project Status
The main focus of the position will be to work as a test engineer in a multidisciplinary team, identifying test cases and writing test scripts, attending daily stand ups and tracking defects. You will be responsible for all types of testing, including security and performance tests and will be expected to organize and plan work in sprints for yourself and other members of the QA team.
Start date: September
Location: Onsite in Zurich, Switzerland.
Tasks
Demonstrated skills in all areas of Quality Assurance testing from integration through to performance and scalability
Have a proven track record of working in a Quality Assurance team and have a passion for learning new technologies and techniques
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with QA Leads and define and implement innovative and original ideas on behalf of the Test Lead
Deliverables
The testing engineer will work with the current test team to ensure all tools and technologies perform as required.
Skills needed
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
5+ years of QA test and process experience working in teams and individual tester capacity
3+ years of proven experience as QA lead, developing QA and test strategies and schedules, as well as leading the work of other team members in large test efforts
(including, but not limited to, functional, system, integration, and regression testing)
1+ year exposure to client pursuit and proposal development in a supporting capacity
Strong knowledge of Mercury Quality Center, TestDirector, Quick Test Professional, LoadRunner, HP ALM or other comparable tools
Past success in quantitative and qualitative analysis of test results, defect resolution trends and application readiness, for executive level reports and presentations.
