Java Developer (Experienced to Senior/Lead)
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Java Developer. For this long term (until end of 2018) contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English and German speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Our client is looking for three different seniorities: Junior to experience; senior and lead developer
Project goal: build a new global and scalable platform to further improve the sophistication of advice and to ensure an efficient delivery to the clients.
Main responsibilities:
- Integrate new risk calculation engine
- Implement new portfolio monitoring and optimization also on individual client objectives
- Staggered rollout
- Development, unit testing, integration, deployment and documentation as well as design of the new Java based Advisory Platform and Components
- Code review
- Close collaboration with IT Architects
- Analysis of change requests
The skills and experience needed for these positions are:
- Experienced with Java Development with JEE6 and 7 and Java 8
- Experience with development tools like:
- eclipse, JUnit, Maven, Git
- UML, XML
- JAX-RS, JSP, Java Servlets
- JSF 2.1, NodeJS, Primefaces
- EJB3, JNDI
- Hibernate JPA, JDBC, JTA
- Messaging via WebSphere MQ, JMS
- Experience with Application Server and Weblogic and JBOSS
- Good knowledge about databases:
- Good SQL know-how (Ability to understand and write complex SQL)
- Oracle
- Experience with performance tuning
- Experience with Linux and Unix incl. Scripting skills
- For the leading position: Experience in leading small development teams (
- Fluent in German and English
