Our client is a large financial corporation located in the centre of Zürich. They are looking to hire an experienced hands-on test analyst with a proven track-record of testing experience. The candidate will be required to analyse in-scope business requirements from product management to enable and develop, review and sign-off test cases in advance of releases. Within this project, the Windows 7 based landscape will be migrated and updated to Windows 10 including all applications contained within core windows build: MS Office, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Oracle Java and Adobe. The ideal candidate is expected to be an experienced tester including the exposure to requirements engineering and the set-up of test cases, bug tracking and Defect Management.
Technically, you are expected to be proficient with the use of several technical testing tools such as HP ALM Quality Centre, UFT/QTP and JIRA. Moreover, you are required to be ISTQB certified and to possess a strong understanding of testing and delivery life cycle methodologies. Any proven testing exposure in the banking industry is a plus. Also, technical knowledge of Windows Client Environment and of integrating Client systems with other core infrastructure components is regarded as a bonus.
This Test Analyst/Test Manager contract job is initially scheduled for 6 months and is very probable to be extended. The salary range for this testing job is between 600 and 750 CHF per day depending on the level of experience and technical knowledge. Fluency in English is a must; any additional language can be regarded as beneficial.
