Software Architect/Java Development Contract role in SWITZERLAND !
Our client in Switzerland is looking for a candidate to undertake the role of Software Architect and Senior Java Developer.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be in charge of the software development, corrective maintenance and code improvements of our clients E-commerce, custom systems and our corporate services.
Write good quality code and perform corrective maintenance and correction of identified defects.
Apply best practices, and software architecture guidelines.
As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for the solution life cycle over multiple layers, ranging from the E-commerce platform through the integration system and down to the Back End. You will describe the overall behaviour decomposition which will guide the development team, in collaboration with the enterprise architecture team.
Analyse functional specifications and provides estimates with the help of developers.
Writes solution design, based on business requirements and functional specifications, strategic design and performance goals for the clients software ecosystem.
Support test design through the overall solution life cycle.
Candidates should have 2-3 years experience as a Software Architect and 5-10 years as a Developer (3-5 years in Java). Strong J2EE and Integration skills, as well as knowledge of UML and other modelling frameworks. Ideally have experience of SOAP, REST. ENGLISH speaking role, any French is a plus.
