For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a C# Developer:
START: ASAP DURATION: 12 Months LOCATION: Zürich
Summary:
A fast-moving team within a Swiss bank we are looking for multiple delivery-oriented C# service integration developers. The main function of the role is to sit within an integration and API team who develop, modify and enhance dozens of existing connections to multiple different parts of the bank. This role has a broad exposure to a wide variety of bank systems, in order to expose them in a modern, forward looking services architecture.
A typical developer is responsible for designing applications or customizing existing applications for use by a variety of consuming applications, predominantly web-based.
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide very strong C#/.Net (WCF/WPF) and SQL development skills to the team.
- Provide task-analysis and estimates, prototypes and proof-of-concepts as part of the analysis process
- Drive development standards development standards are met and that high quality is maintained
- Help ensure that the development team is delivering to the agreed plan, monitor issues and escalate in a timely manner in order to avoid unexpected delays.
- Collaborate with IT peers globally, in particular Zurich and Wroclaw, Poland.
- Leader in the entire software development life cycle including technical design, documentation, software development, unit testing & production implementation
- Assist with production support of existing application, log analysis, tracking and problem resolution.
Technical Skills:
- Strong C# .NET development skills, Web based technologies
- Strong understanding of SOA principles, OO concepts and design patterns
- Experience of Test automation
- At least 7 years professional development experience (Working in finance sector is a plus)
- Ability to write complex database queries using T-SQL
- Project life cycle experience: delivery on at least 2 large scale, highly complex projects.
