We are actively looking for an experience Infrastructure/CITRIX Architect to join our international team at our global client in Zürich. This is a long term relation and we will be particularly interested to hear from local candidates or keen to relocate to the area. English only is required for this role.
THE ROLE
This project is delivering next generation of BYOD Employee & Partner remote access systems.
Successfully candidate will provide deep technical knowledge, thought leadership & architectural vision with an eye on the broader EUC landscape & industry trends. Working in support of the Solution Architecture SME, candidate will be responsible for delivering prototyping, solutioning, road-mapping and technical oversight. This role is operating at a senior level, and the individual is expected to work with a level of independence & drive topics, syndication and communicate vision on complex topics to all levels.
Job responsibilities:
- Deliver Solution designs and on-going architectural governance on the following platform components. This will involve solutioning, prototyping, blueprints, syndication with multiple stakeholders and peer technical groups through detailed documentation and presentations.
- Employee remote access with Xendesktop & Netscaler delivering 'contextually aware' remote ICA sessions. eg if user is off campus then block application/URL xyz on target desktop. Potentially leveraging Appsense/Windows security controls.
- Endpoint security solution - Provide solution to protect ICA endpoint.
- Partner remote access - improve onboarding process & xenapp application hosting
- Tuning remoting protocol - tuning audio/telephony/video on the Citrix HDX protocol
- Prototyping - mobile apps for personal laptop, Good Dynamics Apps on Windows/MAC desktop
YOU NEED
- Remote Access/Remote Desktop technical architecture experience within a large international environment
- Knowledge about industry standards and trends in BYOD, Server based compute, VDI
- Citrix skills: Netscaler, Citrix Receiver, Citrix XenDeskop, Citrix XenApp, Appsense,
