Desktop Support Analyst (100%), Basel - Manufacturing & Laboratory

Experis IT Switzerland, a leading Swiss IT company is currently on the search for a Desktop Support Analyst to join one of their clients, a global and well renowned pharmaceutical company based in Basel.
For this long term temporary assignment with the opportunity of an extension we are in search of an English and German speaking candidate who is available on a short notice period.

Your responsibilities:
In this challenging role, the Desktop Support Analyst will ensure that operational work project related activities and on-call services are performed optimally. Additionally, you as a key team member will contribute to the core business and informatics processes and solutions by applying specific knowledge of systems and tools as well as problem solving skills to support these processes and solutions. At least, the Desktop Support analyst will resolve or escalate problems for resolution when appropriate.
Your profile:
- 1 to 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in a regulated environment with Computer System (ie laboratory experience as a 2nd Level Supporter)
- 1 to 3 years' experience with business processes in the manufacturing and laboratory environment
- Validation experience with working experience in project environment and in informatics Service Support such as Service Delivery (ie experience with ITIL)
- Previous experience in system installation and maintenance of operations systems, hardware and peripherals device eg bar code, scanner, printer etc.
- Technical experience in manufacturing and laboratory systems
- Strong technical skills in different operating systems
- Experience with Windows server and Windows 7/XP
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in German and English
- Service oriented attitude
- GxP certification is considered as a plus
- CSV experience will be an advantage
- ITIL certification is big plus
