Beschreibung

The role of the incumbent is to manage the Conference Services project, involving replacement of two databases and replacing with an enterprise level solution. This requires the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, understanding the system architecture, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. Any experience of Conference Services in Microsoft Dynamics will be an advantage

  • Define, document and professionally execute the Conference Services project; actively participate/manage all phases of the project. This includes developing and refining the to be process', allocate work to project team members (implementing partner or other) and track progress through to successful completion; identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project.
  • Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project to agreed terms of reference; monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances; maintain required financial records, using appropriate tools, for compliance and audit.
  • Prepare and maintain realistic project schedules and quality plans, track activities; provide regular and accurate reports to senior management; manage clients/users as appropriate.
  • Manage the change control procedure, gaining authorization for revisions to the project from project sponsors.
  • Ensure the project is successfully transitioned to the operational support team and formally closed with lessons learned captured; produce appropriate documentation to prove compliance with the project management processes.
  • Organize requirements into appropriate categories, clarify specifications of products and services to be procured; initiate and manage work packages.
  • Collect and collate data and uses appropriate techniques to assess costs and benefits of options and make recommendations about the most appropriate route of procurement within legal constraints; evaluate and participate in the selection of suppliers based on the specification and evaluation criteria.
  • Act as the liaison between the customer and supplier organizations, representing the customer organization, enabling all communications to take place effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
