For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
Salt Stack Engineer for major implementation in distributed environment (Contract)
Job Description
- Engineering and delivering of Salt Stack project (IaaS, PaaS)
- Design/engineer of solution architecture
- 3rd level support
- Decommissioning of Legacy systems/introduction of new systems
Requirements
- Very skilled and experienced engineer
- Outstanding Linux (RHEL 5, 6, 7) and Windows server (2008, 2012)
- Effective track record of designing/engineering scalable multi-location infrastructure platforms
- Very strong Scripting skills in Python and Shell
- Strong Systems Managements knowledge in SaltStack (Ansible, Chef and/or Puppet)
- Excellent open source project experience (available for systems management space)
- Experienced with consumption and creation of Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Experienced with network concepts (switching, routing, Firewalls, etc)
- Very good communication skills in English (proficient)
Contract Details
- Start ASAP
- Contract duration 12 months (possible extension thereafter)
- Location Zürich
- All incl. rate CHF per day
