Beschreibung

Coba IT is working in partnership with a global commodities trading company to recruit a Virtual Desktop Engineer, initially on a 6 month contract for an ongoing project, to be based in their HQ just outside of Zurich. They are one of the world's largest global diversified natural resource companies who employ almost 200,000 people and each and every one of these people is believed to be their biggest assets.

We are looking for a candidate who will be a key member of a dynamic and highly-skilled desktop, server & systems engineering team covering a wide-range of enterprise desktop delivery platforms, primarily focused on the Citrix and Microsoft technology stacks.

Key Responsibilities

*Design & engineering of desktop (Windows 10) & server builds end-to-end
*Application delivery via various virtualisation, packaging and automation technologies (App-V, MSI, SCCM)
*User state and client profile management (AppSense, RES)
*Published application and RDSH delivery (Citrix XenApp)
*Advanced troubleshooting of build & client issues

Key Requirements

*Strong understanding of the major operating systems as Windows, Linux and ESX/VMware.
*Strong understanding of MS Active Directory
*Microsoft System Centre suite (primarily SCCM)
*Network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls)
*PowerShell Scripting to an advanced level
*Operating System deployments (image, scripted build, TFTP)
*Virtual Desktop platform engineering (VMware Horizon View, XenDesktop, Wyse)
