Second Level Support wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Expertise in Unix (eg handling files, searching logs, checking processes) and in SQL querying (Oracle/Microsoft SQL)
- Solid technical understanding of IT and technology along with excellent problem solving skills
- 2+ years of experience working in IT preferably within a financial organization
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
Your tasks:
- Leading a team that provides day-to-day 2nd level technical support on various software applications used across the company's trading and sales businesses
- Executing incidents and problems and supporting the team's delivery to the business clients and technical stakeholders
- Managing relationships with the key stakeholders in different areas specifically within application development and the business community
- Analyzing knowledge, performance and quality gaps within the team and addressing them using hands-on face-to-face supervising
- Ensuring that the incidents with an adverse impact are appropriately escalated and resolved
- Motivating improvements across software applications including monitoring and automation
