Database Administrator wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector. Your experience/skills: Certification in ITIL and/or any related service management technical qualifications 7+ years of experience in Monitoring Technologies and baseline implementations including previous exposure to BMC and Open Stack technologies Solid experience in BMC Performance Manager/Patrol, Enterprise Operational Tools/Processes and in building effective relationship with both product and outsourcing vendors Excellent knowledge of Unix, Perl, framework Proficiency in infrastructure support in large enterprise IT environment Languages: fluent English both written and spoken with a great degree of confidence in presenting recommendations both for peer groups and management Your tasks: Acting as the subject matter expert on the existing baselines in place for the current monitoring platform Managing broker agreements between various stakeholders on the ownership of the baselines and mature current processes in order to support a more agile updates Being accountable person the new monitoring baselines for 'in scope' technologies including Windows, Unix, SQL, Sybase and Oracle Ensuring functionality of the project and engineering teams as well as applying new monitoring baselines on the new IT wide monitoring platform Enabling the existing support personnel to carry on with baseline creation and maintenance by sharing sessions and trainings Start: ASAP Duration: 12MM++ Location: Zurich, Switzerland Ref.Nr.: BH9042 Does that sound interesting?
