Desktop Configuration Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent education as well as 7+ years of experience in relevant disciplines
- 6+ years of Windows client engineering or experience in desing and deployment complex solution based on Windows
- Solid experience of App-v based application troubleshooting and integration work as well as very good knowledge of WMI
- Proficiency in debugging applications on a Windows platform along with knowhow in packaging methodologies, VBS & PowerShell and Windows client deployment
- Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, especially group policies, AppSense Environmental Manager, Windows Operating Systems, MSI
- Profound experience of Virtualizing Desktop Environment and Citrix technologies as well as very good knowledge of PKIs and ITIL processes
Your tasks:
- Designing and accomplishing secure, balanced, and with good user experience build for desktop, laptop, VM and tablet based on Microsoft products
- Supporting the optimization of the build and work in areas such as performance in the terms of speed to loading applications, overall performance, login times, policy load times and vulnerability management
- Acting as main figure in their area for product management and operation team and proposing solutions to the existing issues
- Concentrating on setting up, administrating and troubleshooting group policy in a desktop environment
