Java Developer
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Java Developer. For this 12 months contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop applications and external website
- Implement software and procedures for designing, developing and testing
- Analyse user needs and software requirements
- Identify gaps, redundancies, and dependencies
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- 8+ years of experience of Java, JSF, J2EE and Oracle development
- Experience in development life cycle including website development and production support
- Good understanding with implementing enterprise level Public Websites
- Strong hands on experience on web services, Java EE technologies.
- 5+ years of work experience in the banking or financial environment - Regulatory Banking experience would be a plus
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) approaches
- Fluent in English
