For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a PL/SQL developer

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Location: Zurich

Role overview:

We are looking for an SQL and PL/SQL developer for our DWH and Liquidity Reporting projects. A challenging position within Treasury IT which includes responsibilities in planning, design and development of robust software.

Key deliverables:

Following key deliverables are in scope

- Analyse of new requirements (data sources, interfaces, logic, quality)

- Analyse and design of the application, architecture and its component including interfaces from source to target applications according to architectural standards

- Creation and documentation of the technical application design

- Analyse, design and modelling of data

- Performance tuning

- Provide third level support

Qualifications:

Required Skills

- Graduate degree in Computer Science, equivalent education or qualifying experience

- 8+ years deep knowledge of Oracle (10g, 11) SQL and PL/SQL

- Experience in Unix (ksh, sh, Scripting)

- Experience of working in agile team using SCRUM methodologies

- Strong team player and ability to work with Onshore and Offshore team members

- Ability to understand business requirements and to transform them into performant solutions conforming to standards

- Experience in Informatica PowerCenter (8.6 or higher) as a plus

- Experience with batch controlling tool (Control M) as a plus

- Experience with versioning control tools as a plus

- Reporting skills (OBIEE) as a plus

- Strong Fluency in English, spoken and written with German as a plus
