For a longer term project at our banking client site, we're looking for an experienced
Senior Project Manager - Operational Risk (3831)
In this role you will be responsible for the Risk Identification and Assessment project within the firm-wide Stress Testing Program. This Program is a global program delivering a business process change and a strategic IT solution for risk identification and assessment to meet the requirements from our clients main regulators. The Focus of this position will be on Group wide risk identification and assessment.
Your qualifications:
- Minimum of 8+ years proven project management experience
- Solid experience in a risk or strategic role in banking, financial services, or regulatory field
- In-depth know-how of operational risk required, ideally with risk identification experience
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Professional Risk Qualification FRM/CFA/PMRIA
- Professional Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince preferred)
- Team player, the role requires problem solving skills and the ability to move with the team
- Fluent English language knowledge
About the role:
- Enhancement of Material Risk Identification and Quantification
- Develop and maintain a firm-wide Risk Identification framework
- Help identify Group material risks and vulnerabilities used as inputs into the scenario design process/Risk Appetite setting exercise
- Monitor macro-economic and financial markets as part of the process for designing stress scenarios
- Documentation of scenario narratives and core variables to be used for enterprise-wide scenario analysis
- Lead from the inside and carry out the duties of a senior business analyst and actively contribute to the project,
- Ability to interpret, understand and assess impact from risk data for the purposes of Risk Assessment
- Establishing credibility with all levels of the Client Management
- Frequent Status report updates on Project objectives and deliverables
- Daily review of action list and time management driving key tasks and deliverables for the team
