For a six months project at our client, an international bank, we are looking for a
System Engineer - Data Integration (3820)
In this position, you will be part of the Data Integration Team, which enables ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) of data from various sources to a Service Now instance via a mid-server configuration. The nature of the work comprises both projects and ongoing production support.
Your qualifications:
- Profound Knowledge in Perl
- Experience in working with ETL, JavaScript and Service Now
- Demonstrated experience with databases, including SQL programming, preferably Oracle
- Strong knowledge of Windows server environment
- Proven ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business analysts, solution architects, project managers and development teams
- Bachelor's degree required
- Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support automated ETL jobs for a variety of Data Source types within the existing framework
- Support and maintain the scheduled jobs and data import definitions and transform maps within ServiceNow
- Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues
- Documentation, design, monitoring and implementation of documents
- Assist and mentor the support teams in problem resolution and drive for constant "correct shift"
