My client is currently looking for an experienced CakePHP Developer to join an established team in Muttenz, Switzerland for a 3 month extendable contract.
The candidate must have:
In-depth knowledge of PHP (OOP)
Safe handling of the LAMP stack
Experience in SQL
In addition to very good German, good to very good command of spoken and written English
Passionate interest in new web technologies
Motivation to work on Open Source Contributions
The candidate should also have:
Experience with PHP frameworks, ideally CakePHP 2.x
Windows Client Server knowledge
Experience with PHP CMS, ideally with Joomla!
Active member of the (Free &) open source software community
Strong understanding of HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript
Experience with jQuery or other JS Framework
Unit testing iexperience
Desirable Skills and Qualities:
Experience with MSSQL and IIS Administration
Experience with PHP web shops, ideally with OXID eShop
Experience with other web programming, as Perl
Experience in the development of RESTful APIs
Affinity for UI/UX Design
Thorough understanding of network technologies
