For a major international client in Canton of Vaud, we are looking for a:
Test Acceptance Retail specialist
to be charge of validating the business critical applications that are developed or integrated by our client's Software Factory.
The mission covers all functional aspects of testing, including non-regression, integration and acceptance tests.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the expected quality and accuracy of the software deliverables with focus on Retail/Machine apps and website.
- Write and maintain the test scripts to validate each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results (HP ALM)
- Participate in the development iteration and acquire competencies on the developed functionalities
- Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements and the agreed planning.
- Participate actively in the market and end-user acceptance phases.
- Provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling purposes.
- Collaborate with other teams to prioritize and resolve issues
- Give support to the developers to resolve issues and defects
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Significant experience (2-5 years) of testing apps in complex environments and large companies.
- Significant experience in writing and executing functional test cases
- Significant experience with managing market's expectations.
- Experience with analysing and documenting complex technical issues.
- Experience with HP tools (ALM, etc.)
- Knowledge of development and testing methodologies
- Fluent in English (oral and written), French would be a plus
This is a contract position with an international client until the end of 2016 in the first instance.
The client is located in the canton of Vaud. Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
