For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Java Specialist for End User Application Development (3779)
The End User Applications (EUA) are in transition from IT to Operations and this phase shall be supported by your profound programming knowledge/experience.
Your qualifications:
- Experience building and creating macros
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
- Profound knowledge/experience in programming ie BSH, Java, Javascript, JQuery
- Unix/Linux knowledge is an advantage
- A natural ability to solve complex issues
- Totally focused on client service
- Able to assess new ideas and provide implementable solutions
- Confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
Your role:
Are you passionate about bringing systems to life? Do you know how to solve problems and increase efficiencies?
We're looking for someone like that who can:
- Development, maintenance and improving of End-User-Applications and Macros
- Test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
- Support the existing team in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
- Make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational before handover to the Software Component Manager
- Make your experience available to the team and support in manage versions of software artifacts
