For a longer term project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Test Engineer - REPO & Collateral Trading Applications (3762)
The Test Engineer is assigned to design, plan, execute and report for the Quality Management. You will be working in the IT team responsible for Securities Lending and Borrowing, Repo and Collateral Trading applications.
Your qualifications:
- Degree in IT or similar that would have an equal level
- Degree in Testing methods Quality Management
- 3+ years experience in similar roles as test engineer
- Banking knowledge preferably in the Trading area is of advantage
- Experience in functional & non-functional testing
- ALM for testing
- JIRA to assign tasks and control progress
Your Responsibilities:
- Partner with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to design new test cases
- Coordinate User Acceptance Test and ensure Business sign-off is obtained for all deployments
- Work with off-shore Quality Assurance team to ensure completeness of existing regression test pack
- Perform manual testing of application components
- Work with up and downstream application owners to perform end-to-end testing
- Document test cases and collect test execution evidence
- Provide testing feedback to application developers
- Help document system functionality
