Desktop Lead Engineer wanted within an international bank based in Zurich.
Your tasks:
- Designing and producing secure, stable, and with good user experience system for desktop, laptop, VM and tablet based on Microsoft landscape
- Concentrating on engineering new build based on Windows 10, which will be introduced across the whole bank
- Taking business requirements from product management, gathering and taking into account all requirements related to bank enterprise architecture and answering them with technical solutions during engineering process of new Windows10 build releases
- Taking part in the optimization of the build and working in areas such as performance in the terms of speed to loading applications, overall performance, login times, policy load times, configuration management and vulnerability management
- Taking technical lead role in his/her area and will act as center of competence for product management, architecture and engineering team
Your experience/skills:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of working experience in Windows engineering
- Profound knowledge of Windows Client Environment and of integrating Clients systems with other core Infrastructure components
- Expertise in in-depth troubleshooting of problems with Active Directory and GPO as well as Knowledge of the security requirements of deploying a desktop build within a financial Institution
- Very good knowledge of:
- Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows10)
- System management and deployments software (SCCM)
- MSI and packaging methodologies
- PowerShell & VBS
- Windows Client deployment
- Active Directory, especially Group Policies
- WMI
- App-v based application troubleshooting, Windows Server
- Virtualizing Desktop Environment and Citrix technologies
- PKIs, ITIL processes
