For a 6 months project at an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for a professional
Java Developer - Order Processing/Regulatory (3721)
For this role, we are looking for a skilled developer to Design and Develop complex applications and External website in support of PRIIPS program following best practices and formal methodologies.
Your qualifications:
- Experience in a team delivering all phases of the systems development life cycle and broad technology delivery, including custom & website development
- Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analysing alternatives, and presenting technical options to clients
- Experience with injecting new technology into enterprise systems
- Experience with implementing enterprise level External Websites in a distributed environment (very critical)
- Strong knowledge of Java, JSF, J2EE and Oracle development
- Hands on experience on WebServices, Spring and other Java EE technologies.
- 10+ years' experience in IT software engineering space
- Agile (Scrum) approaches working with JIRA/Confluence etc.
- 7+ years' experience in Banking/Financial Industry: processes: trading & execution, advisory & sales
- Regulatory Banking experience would be an advantage
- Languages: Fluent in English

About the role:
- Implement software covering the project life cycle, establishing and implementing stringent processes and procedures for designing, developing, testing and promoting code in compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices ensuring a maintainable solution
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Identify critical mission gaps, redundancies, and dependencies aligned with component impacts or costs.
- Ensure high standards and quality of technical solutions, keep abreast of technology developments and drives technology innovation where appropriate
