For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
Digital Community Manager
About the role:
You will be responsible for assisting the Head of DIA Comms and the Digital Excellence Program Lead by maintaining and socializing the Digital Excellence Board's standards for digital marketing & communications; by creating advocacy for the Group and Divisional Quality standards and policies for digital marketing & communications; by managing the events, meetings, and other digital community activities; by setting up and maintaining the Digital Excellence internal content and communications channels; and by becoming the liaison between the DigX Board and the larger DIA digital marketing and communications communities.
Main tasks:
- Develop, maintain, and socialize a global repository for the digital marketing and communications standards and guidance that the DigX Board will create and oversee
- Plan, implement, and manage global DigX events, meetings, and community activities
- Create value by defining, stimulating and supporting an internal worldwide community of web-content contributors/managers, product managers, IT experts and digital marketers to collaborate, share best practice and learn from each other.
- Identify and manage DigX digital channels that will be used in the animation of the community (Newsletters, G+ site, website etc)
- Recruit members to the community, identify Key stakeholders and drive for adoption.
- Engage with the Digital Marketing Community to capture requests (content, training, expertise, ideas) and work with global brand/corporate teams and external partners to create it and make it available & ready.
- Create and plan a Digital Training Program: execute webinars, online learning materials and other initiatives to inspire and educate digital marketers around various digital marketing tactics and encourage them to practice new methodologies/tactics.
- Ensure a global to local digital content and idea distribution; maximize local adoption, feedback global team on local interest/take-up.
- Liaise with the DIA Comms Internal and External Comms teams to ensure visibility of DigX activities to these teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in Digital Marketing, as Product Manager, Community manager or similar position, with a track record delivering successful results.
- Minimum of 5 years of transverse project management experience
- Passionate about digital marketing and have knowledge and experience in healthcare/medical device
- Understanding of strategic issues related to the business implementation of online solutions.
- Willingness to work individually as a virtual team member in an International Corporate Organization.
- This position will be based in Basel (75%) and 1 week in Sant Cugat, Spain (25%)
- Excellent business presence and communications skills (ability to influence and align stakeholders)
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing), knowledge of Spanish will be a plus.
- Excellent presentation development and delivery skills
