Java Architect/Developer
Next Ventures are looking for a Java Architect with great development experience for an end customer based in Ticino, Switzerland.
Title: Java Architect/Developer
Location: Ticino, Switzerland
Day rate: Circa CHF 750/day
Start: ASAP
Length: 12 months + extension
Project length: 5 years
The ideal candidate will have the following experience-
A minimum of 6 years' experience within IT
Great experience working as Solution Architect within multiple projects
Experience in the design, and implementation of multi-tier application platforms
4 years + experience in Java/J2EE development
Familiar with some of the following- (EJB 3, JPA 2, JSF, Facelets, JMS)
Advanced UML knowledge and related tools (eg EnterpriseArchitect)
Strong negotiation skills, both with internal as well as external clients
Good experience within Oracle
Experience working in Finance/Credit Domain/Banking
Fluent written and spoken English- and Italian and German language skills are ideal.
The individual would be expected to perform the following tasks:
analysing functional and non-functional requirements in order to design a suitable application architecture in accordance with the company guidelines and the department vision and to provide requirement engineers with feedback
considering alternative solutions between the architectural boundaries of overall architecture and domain architecture
taking full responsibility for the production and maintenance of the Software Architecture Document (SAD)
acting as technical representation
ensuring that the solution fits the existing application landscape in agreement with the corresponding functional architect and central architecture team
