I am looking for an SQL Developer for a six month contract with immediate start date. The role is based in a leading financial organization based in Zurich.
Main duties:
*Developing stored procedures to perform index component selection and weighting
*Covering the whole value chain and data flow of new index projects
*Involved in project-related work with the Operations, Business Development and IT teams
Your profile:
*University degree in IT or Finance with a strong interest in financial markets
*Strong MS SQL Server 2008 Development experience, in particular writing stored procedures and user defined functions
*Knowledge of ETL (Preferably Talend)
*Good understanding of relational Datamodelling
*Experience with market data and investment concepts
*At least three years of relevant work experience
*Ability to handle tasks with a minimum of supervision, in a time-efficient manner
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Proficiency in both written and spoken English
*Numerical and analytical skills
*Attention to detail
